Valerie Harris PT, DPT, OCS, CKTP received her Bachelor's of Science in Physical Therapy from Upstate Medical Center in 1984. In 2001 Valerie received an Advanced Masters in Manual Orthopaedic Physical Therapy from Touro College and her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005, both with academic distinction.
An additional certification as a specialist in Orthopaedic Physical Therapy by the American Physical Therapy Association's Board of Specialties was obtained in 2002 as well as a certification in Pilates for the Rehabilitation Patient in 2003. In 2004 she was asked to join the faculty at Touro College and has been an adjunct professor since that time.
Dr. Harris has been practicing physical therapy for over 27 years. She has extensive experience in treating a wide array of musculoskeletal and neuromuscular dysfunction. On a quest to improve her clinical skills, in 2011, she became certified as a kinesiotaping practitioner.
