We are a Participating Member of the HSS Rehabilitation Network, with 6 Hip Preservation Specialists on staff. In partnership with your physician, we’ll develop a treatment approach tailored to your unique condition, lifestyle, and goals. We’ll help you regain your function and mobility and arm you with the knowledge and tools to prevent future injuries and get back to an active lifestyle.
WE ADDRESS A WIDE RANGE OF NEEDS INCLUDING:
-
Work with us to reduce pain, improve joint stability and increase range of motion, through hands-on therapies and targeted exercises.
-
First, we’ll start by calming down and reducing pain and inflammation. From there we’ll utilize a combination of exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation to strengthen supporting muscles.
-
Our team will partner with you to create pragmatic stretching and strengthening routines to get you back to the activities you love — with as little pain as possible.
-
For individuals undergoing hip surgeries, we offer pre-surgical preparation and post-surgical rehabilitation to optimize outcomes and recovery.
-
When the hip joint is overstretched, moves too much, or is not strong enough for you to use properly we can help you strengthen the proper muscle groups to bring you back into alignment.
